I want to take a moment of your time to thank you very much for a spectacular evening on Saturday. Our guests were constantly complimenting us on our choice of restaurant and I wanted to pass those comments on to you.

The food was wonderful (as always) and there were many compliments to the chef. Since I am a chocolate lover, I must personally express my delight with the warm chocolate cake served for dessert. It was heaven on a plate. I think everyone came up to me at one point or another during the evening to let me know that the service was excellent. I hope that I expressed this to your wait staff but I wanted to ensure that you were aware of the truly impressive job they did. The most common remark was that each guest felt the staff was aware of their needs at any given time without ever being interruptive. The five year old girl that we were delighted to see came as a complete shock to us (and to her parents who had hoped to have a babysitter for the evening) yet your staff made her, her parents, and all around her feel that they were completely prepared for her arrival. Thank you for all that was done to accommodate her and her parents. Her father has been a dear friend of mine for thirty years and I was glad to see his family being taken care of so well.

Lastly, on a more personal note, I would like to express my thanks to yourself and Carlo for making the evening go so smoothly. The presentation of the Cote Rotie wine to David was done exactly to my expectation and David was very pleasantly surprised. Carlo's help to make this selection was invaluable to me and I have not seen David enjoy a wine so much in a long time. We both had a wonderful evening and I appreciate the time that you took to arrange everything for us.

We look forward to seeing you again in the future and hope to revisit our usual seats at the bar during our next visit to Toronto.
